We are disappointed to read your comments below. We have responded to each of your points, but we would also encourage you to reach out to your HR Business Partner to discuss your specific concerns and any suggestions. We take all feedback seriously and aim to continually improve the experience of our people at Capco. We believe strongly that people are at their best when they are happy and engaged at work.
GROW – our global mobility program, GROW, remains fully operational (despite some rumors to the contrary). We aim to issue a communication shortly to clarify the position. Many employees have benefited from, and continue to benefit from, the opportunities available on GROW (an overseas secondment to another Capco office). All employees are eligible to participate in the program with manager support and if they can demonstrate a clear development need that will be addressed by a 12 month secondment to another location. As well as enhancing capability through ‘on the job’ learning, additional development will come from working in a different location and culture, with a different team. The program enables people to fully immerse themselves in a new location and culture so they can accelerate their development. It is one of the things that we think differentiates the firm, leveraging our global footprint for the benefit of our people. As well as supporting ‘One Capco’, GROW also visibly demonstrates our commitment to an inclusive culture (where each of us can ‘Be Yourself at Work’).
Clients – we work with a growing and diverse portfolio of clients across the financial services industry. Some of these are well-established accounts such as the one you mention, however we also work with a growing pipeline of new clients and offer our employees a broad spectrum of work assignments.
New Hires – Capco is growing fast and this year alone, we have hired a steady stream of new talent. These individuals come from a variety of backgrounds including large and small consulting organizations as well as industry. Our robust recruitment process is designed to help us assess if a candidate is a fit for the Capco culture in addition to their skills and experience.
Projects – two of Capco’s values are Commitment and Integrity; our consultants are passionate about solving complex business problems and our goal is always to do what is right for the client, not necessarily what’s easiest. As a business we want to offer interesting, rewarding and innovative projects for our consultants – our projects vary in nature based on the clients needs, however we look to offer work assignments to our people which meets this criteria.
Be Yourself At Work – this is an initiative originally developed by employees to recognize inclusion and celebrate individuality in the workplace. The initiative has always had senior leadership support and is now central to wider diversity and inclusion strategy.
