Pros

Easy to get promoted if you're a half-way decent worker. They're always hiring so it's not hard to get a job.

Cons

Upper-management has no idea how restaurants work. They want you to do the same business as the closest McDonald's with the same speed and a quarter of the labor hours. The budget they give restaurants for repairs and new equipment may as well be nonexistent. For three years we dealt with a roof that poured water from one side of the building to the other every time it rained. Corporate refused to pay for a new roof so we just painted over it. They take serious advantage of their salaried managers. I was working at least 70 hours per week and if you spread my salary out hourly it came out well below minimum wage.

Pros

Flexibility, hours of operation, type of work to perform, relaxed environment and standards easier to meet than other fast food establishments.

Cons

Staffing was always difficult due to low allowed pay range, performing a lot of maintenance work yourself instead of hiring companies or your own maintenance worker and being cheap with equipment.
