Pros
Many brilliant people remain, strong value proposition, customer base and book of business. New head of sales from SAP with fresh ideas. The integrated vision for a unified/automated/connected lab is attractive to many companies. Biovia remains on the cutting edge of accelerating innovation and offers a unique connection into PLM.
Cons
Being able to deliver against completion is becoming a more serious challenge. Extremely slow development with far too many products to maintain and integrate into the vision. It all looks great on paper/slides but the company remains challenged year on year to deliver. The decline of business, significant turn-over of executives, sales, business leaders and domain experts is not a good sign of internal confidence. So many acquired companies should have Biovia well over $200M but the sum of those parts remains far less than the whole.
