Pros
Avanade provides the best of both worlds in terms of the typical big corporation/small company trade-offs. You get all the big corporation benefits from a multi-national corporation owned by Accenture and Microsoft. You also get the small company input and relationships from working within a regionally aligned company with typical a few hundred people per region. It's a great company to get plugged into early and make a career out of. They treat their employees better than anywhere I've ever worked in 12+ years in the IT industry spanning a half dozen or so employers.
Cons
You've got to be aware of the potential for travel and be willing to embrace that.
