Pros
Flexible working (encouraged to work from home and flexible core hours). Can offer a decent starting salary/package (inc bonuses, private healthcare, company car etc.) however this must take into account minimal/nil pay future rises (regardless of performance) once you start! Little opportunity for progression without first leaving the company and then coming back!
Cons
Zero/nil pay rises regardless of performance. Atos UK are in a real mess with numerous projects/clients but rather than trying to fix the issues they are reducing costs (no travel, not replacing staff when good staff have had enough and leave). Atos are known for being very good at billing clients but not so good at looking after then. Although not the worst consultancy company to hire or work for, they are certainly not the best either! A lot of projects are for public sector bodies, so not exactly cutting edge. An example of Atos UK management thinking: Atos have an annual staff survey. UK management didn't like the negative results of recent staff surveys so in 2015 part of the company bonus scheme is conditional on staff stating in the survey that Atos is a 'Good Place to Work'.
