Pros

Salary is paid even when you’re “on the bench,” without an active project.

Cons

1. No salary review even after delivering success on a project or after a full year of work. 2. Company policy states that salary can only be reviewed after 1.5 years of employment. 3. Stagnant career growth, with long periods of waiting “on the bench.” 4. Free courses provided by the company offer no real value beyond basic knowledge you can find in YouTube shorts. 5. Weak benefits package. 6. Projects inside the company are numerous, but working here doesn’t guarantee you’ll automatically join your preferred project - you will be interviewed just like any external candidate. Feels like a company for retirees who have burned out in their profession and no longer want to do anything. From the outside, it looks impressive: with all the right talk about psychology and values! But in reality the company is rotten on the technical side. We are not working in a "psychiatry corporation"! Stop it!

Pros

Hands down the best company I've worked for. It's fast-paced, but Accenture genuinely empowers its people rather than micromanaging them. The benefits are a real priority — they invest in your physical and mental health, offer a generous amount of PTO, and there are legitimate opportunities for promotion if you put in the work. If you're someone who gets bored easily in a role, this is one of the few places where you can stay with the same company and reinvent your career multiple times. The investment in training and upskilling is heavy and ongoing. And the culture around authenticity is real, not just a poster in the break room — especially in the neurodivergent and LGBTQ+ communities, you're encouraged to bring your whole self to work and be comfortable being you.

Cons

This is not the place for you if you don't like change. Pivoting is constant, and keeping up with the latest industry trends can be uncomfortable at times. The sheer size of the organization means it can be hard to find the information you need, and learning the internal infrastructure takes a while. You'll also run into some negativity from folks during tough stretches — but honestly, if you're coming from a turbulent work history elsewhere, you'll recognize that this is much better than most.

Pros

There are a lot of pros working for Accenutre. They have great career opportunities, a never ending supply of interesting work, competitive compensation, wonderful benefits, great people, wonderful training programs, a tremendous number of brilliant professionals in their fields ready to help, and great core values.

Cons

This is not an opportunity for those that do not want to work. At Accenture everyone has a load of work to do and often times under very tight customer time lines. It is a challenge that I enjoy but many might find it stressful.
