Pros

Work life balance is good. Provides free transport to employees.

Cons

1. No direct client exposure in 9 out of 10 projects. Concept is that , if a guy is working for a client in France from Bangalore, then Accenture (France team) is that guy's client. The guy has no visibility to the actual client in France. The onsite team(Accenture , France) deals with the client directly. 2. Because of point (1) there is very very less onsite opportunity. Since Accenture(France) team has direct client exposure. No need to send people from India. It is not only applicable for Accenture,France but across all global locations. Accenture has a global presence. 3. Very low end work sent to Accenture, India. Design work is done by the onsite-team/client(eg Accenture, France) . Only implementation is done in India. In most of the time the guy sitting in India has no idea for what reason a code needs to changed. 4. As a result of points (1,2,3), career growth is limited and freshers are largely affected in their initial career. 5. In many cases ,supervisors are not technically sound. When there is no client specific work, they ask to do something on which they themselves do not have a clear idea just to keep people engaged. 6. Salary is dissapointing. (for people joined as a fresher and till next 3 years). Good for laterals. 7. Promotions and ratings are more dependent on project budget than on credibility. If there is a project budget to promote 2 people in a project from SE to SSE and there are 3 eligible people equally credible, only 2 will be promoted. But if there are only 2 people and both not at all worthy, still both will be promoted. 8. No 360 degree feedback process. A global employee survey takes place every year for namesake. ...............

Pros

Hands down the best company I've worked for. It's fast-paced, but Accenture genuinely empowers its people rather than micromanaging them. The benefits are a real priority — they invest in your physical and mental health, offer a generous amount of PTO, and there are legitimate opportunities for promotion if you put in the work. If you're someone who gets bored easily in a role, this is one of the few places where you can stay with the same company and reinvent your career multiple times. The investment in training and upskilling is heavy and ongoing. And the culture around authenticity is real, not just a poster in the break room — especially in the neurodivergent and LGBTQ+ communities, you're encouraged to bring your whole self to work and be comfortable being you.

Cons

This is not the place for you if you don't like change. Pivoting is constant, and keeping up with the latest industry trends can be uncomfortable at times. The sheer size of the organization means it can be hard to find the information you need, and learning the internal infrastructure takes a while. You'll also run into some negativity from folks during tough stretches — but honestly, if you're coming from a turbulent work history elsewhere, you'll recognize that this is much better than most.

Pros

There are a lot of pros working for Accenutre. They have great career opportunities, a never ending supply of interesting work, competitive compensation, wonderful benefits, great people, wonderful training programs, a tremendous number of brilliant professionals in their fields ready to help, and great core values.

Cons

This is not an opportunity for those that do not want to work. At Accenture everyone has a load of work to do and often times under very tight customer time lines. It is a challenge that I enjoy but many might find it stressful.
