Pros

The pay is good and the organization overall is quite generous.

Cons

Money can’t buy you happiness. It’s a cliche, but so true. Abbott will work you to the ground, and when you are successful you will be rewarded with more work. There is no such thing as a work life balance. Vacations, holidays, after hours ... these are all fair game. Fire drills for information are not uncommon. Executive management takes great pride in the amount of work they give to people, this is a part of the culture. Think long and hard before taking a job here. Is the extra money worth the stress the organization will put on you?
