Pros

Very relaxed and flexible environment. Coworker are nice and easy to get along. Coffee and fruits every week. Team lunch on some occasion.

Cons

Cheat, lies about job and less pay. No future growth!!!! They hire anyone off the street and put them next to someone who went to college and got a degree. The funny thing is that in an unofficial town hall meeting...one of the pm said to show your self as busy when chatting with coworker for customer, that we are busy working!?!??!....lol

Pros

ASM Research provides a collaborative engineering environment that empowers technical professionals to take ownership of massive, enterprise-scale performance architectures. The leadership strongly recognizes dedication and impact, creating a culture where mentoring peers and driving operational excellence are deeply valued. It is an ideal workplace for engineers who thrive on solving complex technical challenges while safeguarding mission-critical systems.

Cons

While ASM Research offers great stability, the specialized nature of long-term government contracts can sometimes slow down the adoption of modern, open-source automation tools and frameworks. Navigating the rigid compliance and bureaucratic layers required for federal systems can occasionally extend project timelines and administrative overhead. Additionally, engineers looking for rapid exposure to fast-paced, commercial tech stacks may find the environment more focused on maintaining and optimizing legacy enterprise architectures.

Pros

Training was good. Coworkers are helpful.

Cons

The pay! $18.81/hr is not worth the amount of work you have to do. They told us in training that there would be a minimal of 3 inbound calls. That was a lie. I've had more than 4 calls come through within the first 2 weeks. The amount of outbound calls you have to make are insane. It's a waste of time. And don't do the evenings because you'll do double the work on outbound calls with no pay differential. Everything is on a spreadsheet and the system that you do use doesn't work.
