Pros

One of the best companies in Kolkata to grow, learn and have an excellent career. My observation over past few years goes as - 1. Very old Organization with most latest technologies to work for. 2. Great products - involves your time, efforts and creativity. 3. weekend works are involved in hours of need but best taken care of with appreciation, comp off, free lunch, drop facility & monitory rewards 3. More than industry standard payments as per Kolkata market. 4. Moreover appraisal percentage has no comparison if you are a performer. 5. Working on all cutting edge technologies. 6. Good work life balance -employees are treated as family, theirs concerns are addressed with due diligence. 7. Full n final settlements are done on the very last working day without keeping anything pending for another 45 days or so. 8. Best part - Never received late salary in past 7 years. 9. Advance salary allowed on request 10. Management makes strict regulations on maintaining office time and discipline. 11. Employees are working for more than 10 years. 12. Senior management is proactively engaged in development phase.

Cons

A few things that may be worked on- 1. Onsite opportunities are not there but the company provides privilege to travel for seminars, papers, patents across the world. 2. Notice period may be lesser in probation period.

Pros

A pulse is all that is needed to qualify to do this work.

Cons

Weekly policy changes were implemented without advance notice and applied retroactively to all staff rather than addressing specific individuals. Dress code memo prohibited tights for all staff in response to specific individuals, further limiting appropriate clothing options in a warehouse environment. YouTube and visual content prohibited a month into tenure, with audio limited to music only, eliminating mental stimulation (e.g. news, podcast, etc.) during repetitive, isolated work in a locked room. A water bottle used every day for a month without issue and was even complimented by one of the supervisors, suddenly became prohibited according to the same supervisor weeks later (there is no exaggeration here, unfortunately). Book tracking quota requirement was introduced despite significant daily downtime — approximately forty-five minutes each morning and after lunch, waiting to be logged in or for books to arrive yet a daily scanning quota was imposed despite these systemic delays. Management is fickle, unorganized, and lacking competence. The work environment is unpredictable, and staff are set up for failure.
