      Pros

      Many locations through out the US and world ranging from small towns to large cities. Very strong eithics - one strike and you're out Good blend of talent from straight out of college to seasoned employees

      Cons

      Secrecy in some job opportunities, sometimes it seems like who you know to get a job and that when interviewing, you know you are just getting a courtesy interview. Some jobs post, others just seem to get filled. Lack of continuity in pay.

      Pros

      1) easy going environment. There is not much pressure unless you are working with the Innovation center. Compensation package is good and all the senior management almost know everyone working there.

      Cons

      Some of the people do not know what they are doing. They are more interested in getting funding for a project and do not care if the project is going to be success. The vision of the people at Innovation are very short. They have long term goals, but the direction they go are very much questionable.

      Pros

      Eaton is a name that holds a good following & recognition in the automotive industry. The philosophy of the Eaton mission statement (...to be our customers' best supplier, providing distinctive and highly valued products, services and solutions) is reaching down to the other divisions in which Eaton is now establishing a position.

      Cons

      The philosophy and vision may be projected to the other divisions (i.e the electrical) however, it appears that perhaps it is more of a "checklist" item to comply with rather than a core business mindset. The mindset in the electrical division persents more of a "mom and pop" we do it our way independency versus we are a corporation and we share good business practices, we are not trying to protect "our turf" within the division. There is improvement -- but the vision is long from being a bit of a blurr...
