Pros

It is a great place to start a career in finance/accounting since they invest so heavily in training and employee learning. A large part of what they do is investing in staff in order to build them up.

Cons

Upon reaching the senior/manager/senion manager level, promotions and significant raises become increasingly difficult to attain. There is a highly structured, almost military-esque, promotion system which is nearly impossible to work your way past.

Pros

Everyone is young, easy to get along with. Cool People, laid back environment and easy to make friends. Quick advancement - Should hit manager by 28 or 29 if you make the right moves.

Cons

As a first year staff, you get compensated well. However, once you hit senior, you're working harder than ever, but getting severely undercompensated compared to other senior accountants.

Pros

They make an effort to ensure that you have work/life balance. They promote inclusiveness and diversity, and are great in supporting charities. The mentor program helps steer you in the right direction in your career, and they're very supportive in helping you find what you enjoy doing. The international exchange program is great, it allows you to try working in a different environment and on a different team, but still have the security of working in the firm. I love the summer floater days, and the extra "personal days" on top of the minimum 3 week vacation.

Cons

Sometimes the work is tedious and the hours are long.
