Pros

Great place to start your career, training and career development opportunities are tremendous, benefit package is competitive (salary not included), unlimited sick days, variety of large international clients and really bright people you get to work with

Cons

The big 4 usual: super under market pay, long hours, under appreciated, it takes a certain drive to survive a big 4, get the experience and get out.

Pros

lots of smart dedicated people to mold you

Cons

no work life balance. had a sick kid and got dropped from engagement after one day at home with my child. not a place for someone with kids and a family unless you have a spouse who can manage children's needs as described.

Pros

Exposure to a variety of clients and tax issues. Learning is an important aspect of EY and plenty of opportunities are offered to the staff. Working with Partners and other senior management happens a lot more than expected.

Cons

Could be better perks such as monthly parking subsidy, bus pass reimbursement, and or gym/athletic subsidy. Tax system is too slow.
