      gdf suez is actually an expert in the sectors of natural gas, electricity and energy services in the worldwide. this is a good platform for employees to develop the career in the related areas mentioned above.

      gdf suez has great ambition to develop business in the international but internal organization and strategy seem to be improved in order to win the games.

      Pros

      Good benefits (besides compensation), work/life balance, contributing to greater good, challenging/rewarding work. Being acquired by Engie may be a positive but much remains to be seen. The Portland office has an amazing culture.

      Cons

      Depends on the business unit you work for. Expense Data Management vs Utility Division. My manager told me I am worth more than I was given for my position. According to him, an outside hire would have received 20% more than I received. I appreciate his candidness but leaves a sinking feeling knowing it will be hard to be paid what I'm worth. No bonus since I've worked here.
