Pros

Location is near Houston Gallaria.

Cons

My experience with the environmental division was not great. The group has reorganized and I am not sure what changes have been made but I was underpaid and unrecognized for my work. My title was an "Analyst" while the other people who were doing the same work as I was doing had a "Manager" or "Advisor" title. We were all doing the same work but because of the title differences our compensation and benefits were not the same. The reasons for this were never clearly stated by management.

Pros

- Steady Hours - Matching 401k W/ Full Benefits

Cons

- Pay is sub-par compared to other jobs. They took away Bonuses from Mid-Level employees and their "Merit" increases are not impressive. - Upper management micro manages. In turn, making you feel more like a number to the them. - Some employees becoming disgruntled, lowering floor morale - Career Opportunities may be lacking if you don't have a degree or know somebody - They pushed a ton of OT hours during the holidays to "Catch Up" which in turn didn't create a good Work/Life balance although hat is something they preached. - New management is creating a different atmosphere which has gone away from "Family Friendly Oriented" to typical corporate once JEFF H left the company.

Pros

They offer 18 days paid time off your first year. It's easy work, and a relaxed environment with nice facilities and great training.

Cons

The low pay is discouraging, and you have a better chance of getting promoted than getting a raise worth anything. And once you get promoted, you will probably be on salary and working overtone for free.
