Almost all of the senior leadership staff are leaving or have recently left, and some of those who replaced them are not particularly clear or actionable leaders. Groups which were conditioned to running so fast toward a goal now find themselves without clear leadership, and without clear goals or direction to work toward. As attrition has occurred, employees are not being quickly replaced, and so an already heavy workload keeps getting spread amongst fewer and fewer people which is very stressful and causes more people to leave because there is no end in sight to their heavy workloads. The senior leaders have also taken on more and more departments, and may not be able to provide equally adept direction for all departments as they are also spread pretty thin.

Major overhaul occurred while I worked there with the entire senior staff. They took a very successful team and dispersed everyone in other departments during a lay off. Teams changed and so did management. It wasn’t the same open door policy anymore and it didn’t feel like family like it did years before
