Pros

Placement scheme at EDF is great hands-on experience at one of the largest construction projects in Europe. Every day is different and the support from managers is very good. The company is also very open to letting you try new things and take your career in the direction which interests you.

Cons

Depending on your specific placement your role could end up being less traditional supply chain management based (e.g. you may end up in a role focussed on governance or people-strategy, instead of contract management or procurement).
