Pros

Good pay for the area and annual incentive plan. Good opportunities to develop skills through training courses. Fun environment to work in

Cons

A lot of micro managing, systems can be temperamental at times. Cut corners on buying software example only just moved from Windows XP!

Pros

Parent company has large amount of money with low oversight. Leader in a small field of companies. Leadership tries to bring together all groups and help groups work together.

Cons

Parent company doesn't really try very hard to monitor this sub company to make them successful. Have very little competitors, so they aren't stimulated to strive for excellence at all costs. Leadership even in middle-management has no idea what the definition of success or excellence means for all groups.
