Pros

Good pension. Free instant coffee and £50 reduction of your yearly energy bill if you are an EDF customer.

Cons

Rude, opaque middle management stuck in the 1950s. Limited training available, all delivered internally. All these positive commens below are either left by HR, or by non-finance employees.

Pros

Great environment to grow and develop your career as an engineer from graduate right through to the latter stages. Lots of scope for learning and developing.

Cons

The majority of employees are ex public sector and as such still hold those views on how things should move forward. Salaries are not as competitive as the private sector.
