It's a large company, so there are good and bad managers. It really depends on who you get. It's a good ol' boys club. If you play golf with the boss, you get a raise! There's a lack of communication and collaboration between teams so expect each team to focus on building their own empire - however, the gross ineptitude of managers to get off their high horses can lead to highly entertaining . Managers with poor management skills aren't given training on budgeting, time-management and employee leadership skills so employee turnover is frequent and employee satisfaction is low.

The trainings provided by EDF is excellent. Also, if you look for a work-life balance, it is a great place to work for.
