Pros

This is an ideal entry level sales position. If you can deal with the hours and long days, and as long as you're there and are slightly competent you will get sales. AMAZING Healthcare benefits.

Cons

Very number/quota driven; not so much on sales, rather on calls and continual customer contact. All about quantity over quality. Take entry Sales Advisor, get promoted quickly to Senior Sales Advisor and stay there. They have a program to get into management, but you will be used and abused for an unknown length of time in it. There are several people in the program and only so many management spots.

As a leader in the automotive industry, we offer a competitive salary and many exciting opportunities for growth and development within the company. We understand that at times, the demand for sales is higher but along with that comes a greater opportunity for financial compensation. We appreciate your feedback and wish you would have had a better experience with this.

Pros

Very fun place to work getting to meet customers and help them get into cars where at a traditional dealership, they would have issues. The pay is excellent but require a lot of attention to detail. If you are interested in being around cars and learning the car sales business, Drivetime in the place.

Cons

The career path to promotion is very inconsistent and difficult to understand what it is that Drivetime want out of their top and most loyal people. Executive leadership and inside the dealership lack the direction and leadership to keep the team motivated. There are also evident promotion or people that lack the skills and leadership skills to lead.

The growth and development of our employees is large part of our culture. While we understand that the timeline to Leadership is not always defined, it is important to us to recognize talent and to provide that opportunity. We are disappointed to hear that was not your experience and appreciate the feedback.
