Pros

Pay rate was decent in regards to the type of work. Did like smaller more intimate environment. As well as direct contact with customers

Cons

I've been in collections 8 years and drivetime was the most stressfull environment i've ever worked in. Payments are due bi-weekly which requires a constant back and forth with exact same customers. Theres no recoarse for falling delinquint until the account reaches 180 days del.. but requires immed contact from 1 day past due, which totally undermines the collections process.. Also DT without any warning decided to downsize the department, which with this economy was devastating

Pros

My colleagues were the best part of the job. I was new and when I needed help they were a big help.

Cons

I would not recommend this job to anyone I know or care about. This job is very stressful, the team is over worked from the workload. When bringing up the fact that I was not able to finish duties I was not taken seriously and was just told to 'find a balance' or that 'it is what it is'. We would sometimes take a shorter lunch or work through lunch just to get work done. No over time Goodluck if you are interested in this jobs though.

Pros

The company culture at the corporate level has historically been strong. Compensation is about average for the industry and the benefits package is solid. As a remote employee, I’ve been fortunate to work with a great team and supportive direct leaders who care about doing good work.

Cons

Recently, new leadership initiatives have begun shifting the direction of the company. For example, there appears to be a heavy focus on automation and AI investments into my sector of the business, which has created uncertainty for many roles that do not require specialized technical skills or executive leadership experience. Many long-tenured leaders who helped shape the culture have been with the company for 10+ years, but it is unclear if that same level of stability will exist going forward. There has also been a push from HR for employees near a home office to return to hybrid or in-office work. Most newly posted roles now require proximity to a home office, with very few fully remote positions available. This can limit internal mobility for existing remote employees, even when their experience aligns well with the role requirements. Additionally, internal compensation policies appear to favor external hires in some situations. Internal transfers often retain similar compensation unless the move is classified as a formal promotion, which can discourage internal career growth. Overall, policies and structural decisions sometimes feel prioritized over retaining experienced internal talent.
