Pros

Minimal to no supervision. Enough time to get what you needed done without being bothered.

Cons

No set hours- you're the last one to leave after the last car is sold. No overtime pay unless the company "ok's" it, which half the time they don't. Looking at working over 10hrs ALL THE TIME

Although our Operations Advisors have fluctuating schedules based on business need, our goal is always to give as much advanced notice as possible and keep to a 40-hr work week to ensure our OA's have adequate work/life balance. We recognize and appreciate the hard work of our employees in this position.

Pros

Drivetime has great benefits and does a good job vetting leads to help keep the incoming customer flow high.

Cons

They have changed their underwriting standards and compensation package too many times. I've been there less than a year and things are completely different on both fronts since I've started.

Excellent company to work for, no hidden rates or loopholes

Pros

Excellent management. Guaranteed paycheck regardless of sales and a commission check every month. First salaried sales job I've ever seen with commission. Room for growth. Closed every Sunday.

Cons

Cold calling is never fun, but it's an important part of any sales job. Sometimes the weekly call goals were too high to reach when making multiple sales or a particularly tough sale in a day.
