Pros

Typically busy, different roles per week, and simple

Cons

Terrible training, management is terrible since they don't know what the roles are of the job you do, no growth, no good pay raise(yearly by the cents), no cellphones allowed in sight/audio use on computers which makes, too much worker gossip, manual labor, and innovation punished

Pros

I learned a lot at DriveTime, I can say with confidence that I had solid 8+ successful years at this Company! I got really comfortable receiving and delivering feedback (both, constructive and positive) in a nutshell: my management skills got only stronger at DT, this company allowed me to develop myself in a personal and professional way, and I was also able to develop others (which is the best reward... "your legacy"!!) more importantly: DriveTime was good to me and I was good to DriveTime. Sr. Management- great people! very personable and engaged. I learned something from every single one of them, specially from my Director, he always took the time to have meaningful conversations with his GM's and I was fortunate to belong to his group! As a Manager you will get a driver (you can borrow a company car and rotate every 2-3 days... any year/maker/model!!) Great health benefits and 401K!!!

Cons

Absolutely no work-life balance! If you want to succeed at this company, there's no other way than putting EXTRA of your time! To maximize payroll some of the stores are understaffed, this impacts not only customer experience, but it also affects every single Team Member! Example: salary employees end up working 10+ hour shifts consistently. Training structure is much needed: the guides/material available are outdated, as a Manager your training skills must be "on point" to be able to compensate the lack of updated material.
