Pros

This is an awesome company to work for. The pay is great and there are a lot of opportunities for bonuses. You do get Sundays off, and you are allowed to work on your days off if you want. The people at my dealership were AWESOME people to work with!

Cons

Lots of hours - especially during tax season. Not a great place to work if you have a family at home as you will not see them a lot. There will be a lot of late nights as well, many times I was there after 11 PM closing a sale.

Pros

They sell to customers with the worst credit. The dealership is really slow so the management pushes sales people to call the same prospects over and over again. The other sales people are good to work with but the mid management is flaky.

Cons

Management needs to recognize people need a work life balance, hours can be too long. Sales shifts can start at 9 in the morning and end at midnight.

Pros

I enjoyed being able to meet new people on a daily basis and work in a fast paced environment. There were always opportunities for growth, which was also attractive.

Cons

DriveTime is a difficult place to work if you value your free time. I was told when I began working there that there would be an occasional shift where you might work late. I do not mind putting in the effort or hours, but constant 12 hour work days were difficult at times. I also feel as if women had a hard time in this environment, as most of the men I worked with didn't value the opinion of women. I would bring this up to those in higher positions, but nothing was done to assist. Coaching could have been better as well.
