Do NOT Work Here

Pros

Nothing really positive to say. Wish I never left my other employer to work here.

Cons

Management does not keep promises. If you are nit friends with the senior leadership team they will fire you without warning. I wish I would have sued for wrongful termination. Think I still may.

I'm sorry to hear that DriveTime wasn't a good fit for you. I hope during your exit interview you provided us with feedback and information so we can continue to focus on the growth of our company and its culture.

Pros

Great pay, good benefits. As long as your manager isn't two faced the morale is good.

Cons

Opportunities to advance only if you're a favorite.

Pros

As you move up into the Senior Sales Advisor roll and above, you get to use the cars as your driver. Competitive pay.

Cons

There is little work to life balance. Drivetime does a lot of things that do not make sense. DT has recently changed their hiring requirements. The employees no longer need to have a degree to work there. The newer employees that are hired were very unprofessional, many couldn't even annunciate words properly. In my opinion, DT focus isn't in customer service and professionalism anymore...

Thanks for leaving you review and sad to see you have a negative outlook on the company. We made the decision to begin hiring a limited amount of non-degreed Sales Advisors as we simply couldn't keep up with our growth and hire enough people with college degrees. Trust in us that we tried everything we could before lifting that requirement. DriveTime will always have a customer-first approach, and having the right people in our dealerships is certainly a large part of that.
