Pros

You get some free food, the people are nice to work with and you can earn a little bit of extra money with petrol money and tips. The work is easy.

Cons

I've had to constantly fight to try and get 2 days off per week. The hours are extremely antisocial and you don't get breaks. When you constantly work 10 hours plus a day and management keep asking you for "favours" ie extra hours, you get extremely tired. You put a lot of miles on your car and may end up losing money looking after your car.

Pros

Instore team members all have a good laugh Store managers, assistant managers and shift managers listen to you The job gives you your daytimes to yourself

Cons

Area/regional managers and above use the words “skivvies” and “disposables” to describe instores in meetings Bonuses are given to only store/assistant managers Bonuses are given for cutting back staff’s hours All staff have to work Xmas eve, Boxing Day, New Year’s Eve & day, all bank holidays etc (unless they’re pally with management) Way too much pressure from higher up that has a rolling effect all the way to the bottom, so instores take the biggest hit Unpredictable rota, management assume that they can put you in on a day’s notice as if you don’t have a life outside of work.
