Pros
Disneyland Paris is the best company I ever worked with! When visiting the Park, I'm really proud of being part of the Cast and contributing to the Magic.
First of all, the legacy of Walt Disney is just impressive, and his vision is still respected after so many decades. The company has plans for the long term and is socially responsible, with a commitment to develop the Val D'Europe area for example.
I could tell that a couple of months after joining Disneyland Paris, expectations have been exceeded by far. The management style encourages to suggest ideas and make decisions that matter. Directors and VPs are approachable, and open to new ideas as long as it has a real impact.
Diversity is also a very important point. It's highly respected, and at a level that could be hard to find in any other France-based companies.
So many nationalities are represented and it's a pleasure to work for such a global company!
To finish, I had the opportunity to speak with Cast Members from different departments, and a common theme emerges: one company, many careers. You could build your own path and switch careers, as long as you achieve your goals, express your motivation and share your interests (in the limit of the company's priorities and capabilities).
Cons
Disneyland Paris is a large company (near 15K employees) and procedures could be sophisticated. Though, compared to other large companies with multiple layers, divisions and segments, I consider that speed is optimized and we could get things done fast!
