Pros

Excellent office space, competitive payrate, good medical insurance

Cons

RTC management team is exclusive club for those who think only about themselves and how to preserve the position and power. Zero chances to be promoted to D-level if you are not member of this club. Double standards, unfair treatment of your contribution. Since RTC management team has only stars in it, bonus pool (which decreases every year) majorily distributed amongst this team. Russia Technology Center is typical realization of team extension model and every manager coming from UK, US or Germany communicate on the every townhall "do you freaking JIRAs". So the only function RTC management team does is harassing everyone to get JIRAs done by all means on time to satisfy higher-ups abroad. If project is accidentally owned and executed in RTC it usually becomes chaotic and fire-fighting activity. No surprise as Russia Technology Center management destroyed Project Management Community of Practice and let all project managers go to the competitor Bank.

Pros

Good benefit and vacation. You will get to meet with many people to expend your network. Multiple projects running in the center, so you can switch to different project if you would like and happen to know the right person. Nice coworkers. There are many training opportunities.

Cons

No raise every year unless you get a promotion. If you get a low salary at the beginning, then you are likely to have the same salary unless you are being promoted. As a matter of fact, it's hard to get promoted. The technology is based on the teams, but don't be surprised if you are not working on cutting edge technologies. The rating system is not reliable, so you might end up an Okey performance and you think you work hard.
