Pros

Worldwide brand. Big Four experience and exposure. Reasonable pay, and work/life balance.

Cons

The "Partner knows best" attitude. They do not pay enough attention to what their juniors are up to. Partners also conflict and contradict. Too many people in the marketing department appear to have far too little to do. Relatively weak branding, should be much,. much better. Not distinguished enough from competition. Branding and marketing is very poorly focused. Spend time and effort on the clients that matter. Stop chasing minnows. Everything is urgent - so in reality nothing is urgent. Breeds cynicism Pays worse than other Big Four. Development is non existent in support functions. Huge level of politics. Appraisal process is a box ticking exercise. In some departments, those who do the work are often left to carry on doing it, while those whose "face fits", but who do not actually deliver, still often get unmerited raises and bonuses.
