Where do I even begin? Working at Deliveroo took a serious toll on my mental health. It is a cut-throat environment rife with blame culture, where everybody is just covering their own skin and will gladly throw you under the bus. Management is toxic, condescending, and does very little. There are numerous cases of managers doing close to nothing. There are no long term career opportunities as promotion is a function of home visibile you are, not how impactful you are or how good a job you do.

They started hiring a lot of managers from Amazon thinking they can do the job. Guess again, many are just pencil pushers who don't know a thing about management.
