Pros

Decathlon is a company that gives you the autonomy to manage your own perimeters like business and sales strategies that aligns with the company's values & mission. I am proud to be able to take full on ownership and responsibilities of my work. Decathlon integrated everyone of us with the right trainings and tools to develop our skillsets which helps us grow further and to analyze better for my decision making collectively. Learning pace is fast and can be steeped for new joiners. Fret not, Decathlon has a program where we meet our Leader monthly for a One-To-One Individual Meeting to check on one's well-being and challenges at work. Our voices are bring heard and it also helps us to be clear of our priorities and re-align back to our goals & values. In Decathlon, The Sky Isn't the Limit. We create our own opportunities and purpose. With time and opportunities, let your result be the noise.

Cons

Decathlon is always evolving for the better. Individual must be tenacious & adaptive to changes in this fast-paced environment.

Pros

Overall, it’s a really team-oriented place—they really push that “sports team” spirit, and honestly, it doesn’t feel fake. People are generally super supportive and easy to work with. The vibe on the ground is usually positive, especially in stores or team settings. In terms of compensation, it’s not bad. The base pay is okay, and there are some decent bonuses and share options, which not every retail or sports company offers. If you’re motivated and proactive, career progression can happen pretty quickly too. That said, the training can be a bit inconsistent, and sometimes the workload feels heavier than what you’re getting paid for—especially if you're part-time or new. Work hours can be all over the place, and physically, it's pretty demanding. Definitely not a “sit-at-your-desk” kind of job.

Cons

Career progression could be long
