Lack of C-level communication to the rank and file. Old school culture that is almost impenetrable. Major differences between departments in terms of work life balance, HR policies, etc. (i.e. one department can wear shorts and drink beer, another cannot have puzzles out on desks). Expensive health coverage.

Morale was non-existent with constant lay offs, restructuring and endless gossip/politics. Lots of empty cubes. Revolving door at most middle management positions. Lack of communication was a glaring problem.
