      Pros

      - This corporation is a good place to build your career and experience for starters. - The daily work varies depending on work load on a daily basis but it's nice to be slow one day and fast paced the next. - There's always new things to learn and incorporate into your career.

      Cons

      - Advancement is slow or nonexistent. - "It's not what you know but who you know" rings true here. No connection with supervisors. - Monthly 1 on 1 reviews doesn't matter if you're the slowest or the fastest worker.

      Pros

      The business is interesting -- lots to learn, cool technology is used in product development, smart people doing the work

      Cons

      Leadership is poor, especially in the product organization. No clear direction and lots of politics and not taking responsibility for or following through on decisions. Communication is really poor. Some director and VP level types flaunt inappropriate behaviour.

      Pros

      People mistaken you for working at Merrill Lynch. You try correcting them but stop half way through because deep down you do wish that you work for Merrill Lynch instead of Merrill Corp.

      Cons

      Way too many. Of course middle/senior management will tell you there’s none. Sometimes it does make you wonder with all the money they have why don’t they build a better company.
