Pros

Good people, some managers are very supportive, flexible work environment Very diverse work environment People are always willing to help

Cons

No growth opportunities Does not seem to care about retaining talented employees Too many reorgs Too many layers of management Only seem to layoff regular employees, higher level employees are usually just reshuffled around Leadership has no clue on employee satisfaction

Pros

- Work is Relaxed - Adequate training is provided to help individuals perform their work. - Good number of vacation days

Cons

- Preferrential treatment given to certain people and gangs of people are formed. So if you are not part of the gang, do not expect to be promoted or given any "preferred" treatment. - HR do not fairly assess situations and almost always side with management. - Lack of diversity in management - poor management policies. - If you are not white or "english" by birth, expect your manager to say that you lack communication skills.

Pros

paid holidays, 2 weeks paid vacation to start. three weeks vacation after 5 years, four weeks after 15 years, and five weeks after twenty years. There are three personal time days but if they are used your review will suffer.

Cons

think (DO) control your life inside as well as outside work. Militant type work atmosphere where you are consistently watched as to not have any chance to step back from the job for a second or stretch from the constant standing in one position and even to the point that going to the bathroom is frowned upon. No consideration for any personal obligations even a doctors visit after core work hours is sometimes challenged to the point of threat of termination if you go to the doctor after your core 8 hours. Absolutely no consideration for your opinion about the best way to perform a job to anything else you may have an idea about. Their statement is flexibility and team concept but in actual practice they view you as beneath them and you are to do as your told and keep your mouth shut. Its a steady place to work if your willing to submit your whole life to them. Basically its a horrible sweat shop with a steady pay. Most people are miserable. The very high turnover proves this yet they have meetings wondering why none of their subjects want to stay To advance to better positions within the plant you have to have relatives or be sleeping with someone that has that authority to give you the job. I stayed here so my children don't have to ever work in a place like this and would be a failure in life if they had to seek employment here.
