      No stability, constant layoffs, and zero empathy or respect for employees and their families’ lives.

      Pros

      Hard to point positives right now. I guess there are nice people in some teams.

      Cons

      Constant layoffs. Some announced, others disguised as restructuring. People are just waiting for their time. Company is full of fake enthusiasm and lots of pretending. Management doesn’t take any responsibility for the constant layoffs, it’s quite easy for them to drop how sorry they are and how this is the necessary measures for company sustainability and growth. The conversation is always the same every couple of months. People life’s are impacted and for management it’s just about numbers. Contentsquare adquires other companies to butcher their culture and product. It feels like it’s always the same loop. Motivation is on high time lows.

Layoffs are never an easy decision and are not made quickly. The decision was made in the context of long-term sustainability, but we know that intent does not always match how the change is experienced day to day.       Avoid at any cost. Inhuman decisions with incompetent management.

      Pros

      The complexity of the product/niche might be rewarding for some.

      Cons

      Leadership strategy changing every few months, reorgs/layoffs taking place before thinking about what has to be done, and wishful thinking cripples execution, leading to a shrinking business. Management talks endlessly about alignment and management without realistic collaboration, even at the top level. They randomly fire people (even during parental leave).
