Pros

The project rate is $17.31. I can't think of anything better to say. Oh.....well....there is a cafeteria on site. But.....yeah.....there food isn't all that great and it's overpriced. They also charge for cups and condiments.

Cons

I figured out very early on that Conduent Cherry Hill is basically filled with degenerates and low class people. I started on a project and my training class was a nightmare. It was like being in a high school or middle school full of all of misbehaved students. The trainers tolerated disrespect towards other students. Some trainers even participated. I was hired on full time shortly after and the full timers it turns out haven't been any better. Every day different groups clique up to gossip about each other. When one member of a gossip clique leaves, the rest of the group invariably turn on that person and talks badly about him or her. And this is every day. The managers and supervisors don't care. They sometimes join in. There is no semblance of professionalism at this place. People come to talk trash about each other eat take out at their desks (which we're not supposed to do) and maybe take a few calls in between. Admonishment wouldn't work because the people who behave this way have likely always behaved this way. They're likely bored and/or unhappy with their lives so they bring their mess and that energy to work. Everyday.

Pros

• Working from home • Not dealing with this company face to face • Having an early heads up that this was a bad idea

Cons

Unreasonable expectations all around. Mostly about work environment. The starting pay is barely above minimum wage and your home workspace must be “free from distraction” for protecting customers security. No workspaces in living rooms? I live in a two bedroom apartment and have been working from home for over 10 years. I have more experience and equipment than many remote individuals yet my workspace is considered a potential security concern. How do you hire at all when this is the case? It’s outrageous and asinine, and for $11/hour with availability required between 7 AM and 11 PM. That’s 16 hours a day, 7 days a week! Then schedules are picked up via bidding. You people cannot be serious.

Pros

It is a work-at-home job which I loved. With my skillset I was able to work a lot of overtime which I also loved.

Cons

I'm old, over 60... There was ZERO availability for advancement for someone in my age bracket. Being watched every single minute of the work day was very unpleasant. The staff had as many watchers as people actually working.
