Pros

The only pro is the satisfaction that you have helped and improved the stay of a customer.

Cons

The management is disastrous and really feels as though they have no direction. Many, many changes in restaurant only for it to go back to how it was before I even became an employee. Also, often the changes that do happen are for the worst leading to difficult times for all employees. The manager's know this but are too stubborn to change and do not listen to the opinions of their employees. It's a case of who you know in the job in order for you to progress regardless of whether you can actually do the job. I know an employee who has been working there for 13 years and still hasn't been offered a supervisor role, yet someone who literally only came into the job 6 months before is now a supervisor with next to no experience whatsoever.

Pros

Monday -Friday hours. weekends off and bank holidays paid, 20 days annual holiday. Lunch provided for staff working 6 hours or more.

Cons

Senior management are not interested in h&S , literally only bothered about bottom line figures. No interest in morale of team, no interest in advice for progression. This company have good idea's at training level however have no ability to put these plan's in place. This company is by far the worst contract Catering company ever. Listen to dome sound advice don't ever work for them.

Pros

Probably the only pro is that is shows just how crappy these global companies are.

Cons

The so-called management use a system of yelling, intimidation and outright bullying to terrorize and dominate the actual workforce. They prey on the fact that the staff are desperate for work therefore unlikely to report illegal practices. The other day the so-called manager went around making racist comments about a asian worker and when questioned just laughed it of saying he was just joking. The HR are complicit in this type of management style and will do anything to get their management of any complaint so staff just don't bother as it causes further harassment. if anyone takes a sick day they are made to feel so guilty and unlikely to do so again so end up working while unwell because of these standover tactics. The so-called management ofter resort to yelling and screaming at the workers as if they are slaves in ancient history but as soon as any of the teacher appear are all smarmy and make sure no staff are alone with teachers.
