-pay rate rarely goes up -extremely political amongst coworkers -management micro-manage often, so be prepared for someone on your shoulder constantly - supervisor that can work but cant delegate tasks, nor communicate with newer employees, so training is never really "done" until someone complains about you to upper management-damned if you, damned if you don't. - cliques are still a thing for people assumed to be adults, so mind everything you say or do, cause they definitely will. -teamwork is a word you don't hear often and that rings true here, if you don't get yourself established, you WILL suffer the consequences greatly at the worst times, so getting social as soon as you walk in your first shift is crucial -work tasks will get piled on top of yours if someone is lacking on their load, as being a man, I have witnessed the pass women get "consistently" and the moment a male slows down his pace- its nothing but write ups and meetings about your work effort.
