Pros

At the moment I do shifts at a popular sports stadium where I work as bar staff and also waiter for corporate and events. I like how it was easy for me to get the role with very little experience of hospitality. I also like how I have learnt a lot in training and the staff there. Friendly staff and ability to work shifts at ANY other major venue across the UK where Compass Group operates.

Cons

Lack of stability. Sadly not a shift every week No continuing training after your initial role induction Not many benefits apart from one free lunch. Not enough breaks. Only one 20 min break per 6 hours and I'm not paid for that. Pay is £7.10 per hour. Strange casual working contract

Pros

Cooking the meals for the students, and staff was very rewarding, change from the company before to this one was understandable for business. Tried to please the students, and staff with what they felt they wanted to eat.

Cons

After the change we lost a couple of key employees, but due to enrollment issues some of the educational staff was let go.
