Pros

- Hourly pay was not bad for a part-time university student - Good start to get experience in the sports/entertainment concession industry - Opportunity to lead a team

Cons

- Team members were fairly inexperienced and disorganized, seemed like anyone could be a cook or cashier - During important games, we would always be overloaded during crunch times - Management was slow to deliver change or ingredients

Pros

Temporary summer festival work, so working with people of similar age and saw lots of bands

Cons

Awful organisation - lack of checks on staff who were simply not turning up for work yet still getting paid. An 'accident' (almost certain they wanted to avoid paying us) meant that all our bank forms etc got lost, meaning I was delayed payment by at least 2 months.
