Pros
I can't think of any pros, it once was a reasonable lifestyle ruined by the greed of management
Cons
By doing an Australia wide EBA rather than a specific fifo EBA for the Pilbara as we already had, Omega management has successfully cheated their workers at of thousands of dollars. Wages paid now are less than they were 10 years ago about $19.20 hr on a construction site!! PPE is non existent and is borrowed from other contracts, moral is very low. If Compass put as much effort and time into looking after their workers as they do trying to find ways to rip off their workers it would be a good company That's my 2 bob and thats why I have quit
