Pros

Compass is a large umbrella corporation that seems to be always getting larger. The buying power/contract bidding is huge. Advancement from within.

Cons

No autonomous operating. There’s constant oversight from HR, health and safety, regional and national reps. They promise KPI’s when they pitch the contract then push hard to make the operations side achieve their lofty goals.

Never a dull moment, learn new things every day, can see some amazing places.

Cons

Travelling to remote sites can be difficult - after a few years, you start to miss being at home and having a "normal" life.
