Some of the people are nice, free onsite parking. Not much else I can think of for the benefits for working for Colas

Cons

Management! Don’t join this organisation unless you are willing to keep your head down, mouth shut and work long hours. Employees feel guilty talking to each other in the hallway. The person before me left a note on our desk advising that she left because of the bad culture - I should’ve taken her advice! Not many people have worked there very long unless they are management or the heads down mouth shut type person. Turn over was very high and they sack people for illegal reasons.

This company has no bright future; all projects are at a loss. Salary compared to other company is too low. Not paying for overtime working. Modern Slavery. Absolute bully culture. work-life balance is a jock
