Pros

Stock price is up compared to when ACE bought Chubb.

Cons

4/1 mandatory for no reason other than senior managers say it is the way. poor middle management that has no resolve and will not bubble up problems If you do bring up a problem, you are blamed for it and told to fix it no respect within the organization

Pros

Salary is decent. Record profits every quarter since I came over in the great reshuffle of 2020. How close you work with literally all of management because you need their authority to wipe your backside can result in unexpected opportunities if you you are boot licker.

Cons

Job Expectations - Claim volume itself is average to slightly below average for the industry but prepare for several hoops on 80% of your claims that you will be required to jump through or told to GTFO. Yeah they are very cut throat. - No Authority (everything has to be approved which makes the job downright unbearable for most as it slows you down and frustrates a growing handful of customers beyond belief). Even your authority requests to supervisors typically require management to sign off. No training program so they depend on hiring adjusters off other insurance companies (hence the salary).

Pros

Pay is good if you can execute on lofty goals. One if the best names in the industry, other companies will recruit you. Equity once you hit pay grade 30.

Cons

Forced to be in the office 3 days a week and it is part of your annual review. How do you have a record year then suddenly decide to change how you operate? This has caused people to quit so the workload has increased for those who have stayed but they are having a hard time hiring people. Worst turnover I've seen at any company
