Pros

Not much other than PTOs are good.

Cons

- Flexibility is nonexistent. - Pay is terrible unless you’re a new hire in 2023. - Understaffed in every department. - Forced to help multiple departments (1.5 years and counting) due to being understaffed with no additional compensation or end in sight. - Workload - Inflation has increased but Chubbs pay has not. A 3.5% raise when you ‘Exceeds All’ for a company who “had their best year to date”, is extremely disappointing. - Systems are terrible.

Pros

- Company itself is doing great - Work life balance most of time - Great people to work with - Competitive benefits: 401K match total 9% max, only paid once a year and 2 year vesting tho, and offer ESPP

Cons

- Low salary - High turnover, you are just a number and senior management don't really care - Old school, white boy's club - Mandate return to office

Lack of Support

Pros

Generous benefits package. Great education reimbursement program. Great brand recognition.

Cons

High turnover in department due to favoritism and unrealistic production expectations. Over the three years I've been here many of my colleagues have quit and moved to other organizations out of frustration. We are extremely overworked, and there is immense pressure to produce so on most nights we end up having to work overtime but there is no overtime pay. No work life balance at all. Managers ignore cries for help and additional training is not provided, yet you will be told off when you create errors because of a lack of training. Emails to management requesting assistance are ignored. Certain individuals in the Toronto office will actively partake in character assassination in order to make themselves look better.
