      Great Company, Room for Improvement

      Pros

      Chubb (ACE) is a great company to work for, especially starting as a professional associate. There is a lot of room for growth and job opportunities in many fields (underwriting, reinsurance, finance, etc.).

      Cons

      Technology is outdated and could definitely use a lot of updates and more support from IT. They also favor underwriting departments quite a bit. Obviously that's an integral part of the business, but the supporting roles should not feel ignored when the company needs those to succeed as well.

      Pros

      The culture at Chubb is a mix of the old 'mom & pop' mentality (meaning the people really care about you) with a typical corporate environment (i.e. Politics, slow to make decisions).

      Cons

      Chubb has been likened to 'Mayberry'. The employees are long tenured and the new, younger hires only seem to stay for a year or two before they move on.
