Corporate culture is great - very supportive. This is the best place in the insurance industry to learn insurance as a young person starting his or her career. Very diverse organization. National and Global reach. One of the top four markets in each niche that they participate in, which allows for some operating leverage in the marketplace. Leadership is strong - does a good job of communicating the vision and direction of the company. Work life balance and flexible arrangements are available.
Cons
Has become a very flat organization - one needs to find their niche and brand themselves early on in order to move up. Not as easy to rise as it was 10 years ago, but that means that those that are getting ahead are better suited for the success in the future. Comp is fair but other less established players will typically pay more.
