      Pros

      Very successful financially overall Good spirit of coordination and help others across business divisions and functional areas Top execs don't demand any more of you than they demand of themselves Not many turf battle because everyone has more than enough to do OK from a technical platform standpoint

      Push for speed and innovation often leads to problems Not enough recognition for any function outside of underwriting

      Good company to start a career

      Pros

      Great environment to work in. I worked in a small technology department in their Admin Services department. People are very friendly to work with. Balanced work load given to employees. It turned out good for me since this was my first job after graduation. So didn't feel like I ran into that work rut as soon as I graduated. Good balance in between work and life.

      Cons

      Company just got acquired. Letting people go left and right. Was a temp-hire, but could not get hired because of this acquisition. Though they did extend my contract.
