Pros

Was a great company before merger. Great company that accommodates work life balance. Great people to work with.

Cons

New company isn't very knowledgable in respect to purchasing large companies. Very disorganized. With reorg, they keep many people they should of let go and let go of many great people they should've kept. They say to look at both companies and keep the best parts. They are like politicians, promise everything and give you nothing.

Pros

IT Finance team achieved a major leadership upgrade upon completion of Chubb merger/acquisition. Historically very strong talent at the AVP level and on down the chain and with new leadership, things have really come together. EVP level above the team is also very strong and fair.

Cons

Growing pains and the seemingly perpetual ITS budget planning cycle that ties down too many resources, unnecessarily. Annual raises tend to be paltry so be sure to negotiate well when you come in. Ask for additional time in vacation as they are also extremely behind the times with only 2 weeks vaca to start.

Pros

Good benefits and perfect atmosphere for someone new in insurance. Lots of opportunities to gain knowledge and experience through leadership development programs.

Cons

Employees are always switching roles so it can be tough to know who you need to reach out to. Also, the people switching in usually take time to get used to the new role. Pay could be better for more seasoned employees.
